A 70-year-old woman was killed in a parking lot near a church after being hit by the car that her husband was reversing.
The woman was run over after she was dropped off around 9:30 a.m. Monday to conduct a Bible study at Castle Hill Baptist Church in Sydney’s northwest.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics but was unable to be resuscitated.
The 70-year-old driver of the car was not injured.
He was taken to Westmead Hospital for mandatory testing.

Another church member witnessed the horrific incident, said Rev. Ian Deane.
“It’s just tragic, it’s just incredibly sad,” Reverend Deane told Channel Seven.
Police are investigating, but no charges have been filed.
