A Virgin Atlantic flight with more than 250 passengers traveling from London to Los Angeles has been forced to divert to Canada.

The Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner landed at Goose Bay Airport, a Canadian Forces Base in the Happy Valley-Goose Bay community.

A concerned Twitter user asked the plane for a status on flight VS141.

Virgin Atlantic replied: ‘All affected passengers have been advised of their re-protection options and can also be viewed when they log into ‘My Booking’ on our website.’

The user asked if they landed in Canada, to which the company confirmed, “We can confirm that the VS141 landed at Canada’s Goose Bay Airport.”
