Shocking footage has emerged of the brutal beating a man received after an Elton John concert in Los Angeles last week, and an assailant has been arrested after beating the man unconscious.

The victim said he was leaving the concert when someone hit the rearview mirror of his car, where he and his wife were sitting.

When he got out of the car to ask who did it, a woman approached him and claimed it was her before trying to put her hands on him.

The video shows the man on the ground with his hands up being repeatedly punched by another man in a blue shirt in the parking lot of Dodger Stadium.

As the victim is kicked to the ground after trying to get up, another attacker in a black shirt joins in and violently punches him in the face, apparently knocking the man unconscious.

The video begins with the man in the blue shirt punching the victim and kicking him when he tries to stand up.

The man then takes more punches as he lies helpless on the ground, knocking him unconscious.

The man in the black shirt even throws a friend out of the way to punch her before attempting to charge a passerby and snatch her phone.

While the two attackers have not been publicly identified, a suspect has been arrested in connection with the assault.

The victims have also not been identified, but they took their story to KCAL9 and they detail the harrowing attack.

The next thing I know, a big gorilla is coming towards me. This guy was crying over me. I defended myself, but I don’t think he did anything,” the victim told KABC-TV.

It was at that moment that the principal in the blue shirt approached and began to beat him, prompting the victim to take cover.

This is around the point where the video starts, and the man said ‘next thing I know I’m seeing other legs’. People hitting me. My wife came, she said that she was taking people from me.

While the beaten man can be clearly seen, his wife’s ordeal was harrowing as well.

She said she got out of the car after seeing the crowd form around her husband, but when she tried to help, they grabbed her hair and threw her to the ground.

“I felt like I was rammed and thrown and my head hit the pavement so I passed out,” he said.

Her husband backed that up, saying, ‘She was on the ground knocked out, I was knocked out. Nobody came to help us.

‘Leaving my husband on the ground to die…if I wasn’t there, if he had a brain injury and was bleeding to death, who would help him?’ she asked.

The two men can be seen running away at the end of the video as a crowd of onlookers follows them.

The Los Angeles Police Department issued a statement about the incident: “The city of Los Angeles is home to entertainment of many kinds. It is always tragic when acts of violence tarnish the public’s sense of safety in attending such events.’

‘The Los Angeles Police Department is committed to restoring public sense [of] security and seeking justice in this instance and always,’ they added.

The show was part of Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, and the final concert of his sets at Dodgers Stadium took place on Sunday.

The 75-year-old singer was joined on stage by other celebrities including Dua Lipa, Paul McCartney, Mick Jagger and Jude Law.
