She is a proud mother of daughters Sophie, four, and Elodie, two, who she shares with husband Tom Burgess.

And on Monday, Tahlia Giumelli shared her savvy, money-conscious parenting advice with her Instagram followers.

The 30-year-old model revealed that she doesn’t buy gifts for her two children, but instead puts money into a bank account for when they get older.

‘When the girls were born, I opened bank accounts for them. We put money into it instead of buying lots of birthday/Christmas presents and if family or friends want to give something to the children, we ask them to put money into their account,’ explains Tahlia.

‘Our girls are spoiled with toys, so that’s all they need. Decided to invest this instead of sitting in a bank account.”

“Until they’re 25, we’re not going to start this. In the hope that it will give them something to pay for a house, car, trip or study.’

She continued, “We are not going to tell the kids about this. I don’t want them to sit around thinking they’ll be handed something at 25, so they’ll keep working hard, but it could be a nice little surprise for them.’

Tahlia married her footy star husband in January 2022.

The social media influencer also announced last year that she had been diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

After her diagnosis, Tahlia began reading two popular books about the condition, Women with Attention Deficit Disorder and The Disorganized Mind.

“These are the two books my psychiatrist recommended to me,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Tahlia called women with attention deficit disorder “an eye-opener,” explaining that it was the first thing she read after being diagnosed.

ADHD is a mental illness with symptoms such as difficulty focusing, hyperactivity and impulsive behavior.
