Sam and Billie Faiers have broken their online silence after former boyfriend Ferne McCann told James Argent why she made cruel comments about Sam.
Former TOWIE star Ferne, 32, couldn’t contain her emotions as she discussed her fallout with her best friend, 33, whom she’s known since school, following a leaked voice-note scandal.
In the series premiere of ITVBe’s First Time Mum, Ferne confessed that she recorded the “hurtful” messages because she was jealous of Billie’s sister Sam, age 32, at the time.
Since the emotional scenes aired Wednesday night, Sam has been quiet on social media but has now returned to Instagram.
Sam posted a throwback snap saying she was living her best life with her friends as she posed next to her friends — sans Ferne.

Elsewhere, Billie also broke her social media silence when she took to Instagram to share a sweet family snap following Ferne’s confessions.
On the show, Ferne claimed to know who was behind the leak, to which an anonymous Instagram account, dubbed Lady Whistledown after the Bridgerton gossip, posted a series of voice messages last year from a woman they claimed was Ferne.
One heard a woman’s voice labeling one of acid attacker Arthur Collins’ victims a “silly bastard,” while another accused Ferne of shaming Sam Faiers.
She said during the episode, “I’m so embarrassed and embarrassed and I know the words are very hurtful. It was from a time when I was in real pain, and in a very vulnerable and bad place,” she explained as she sat in her car thinking.
“They were from about five years ago, when me and Sam got into a fight. It’s very hard for me to talk about this because I don’t want to talk about the past. Would I say those things now? Absolutely not, but the ones I have absolutely apologized for.
“But now because of this hate campaign and this person holding them for five years to weaponize them against me, I’ve lost my… I’ve lost some of my best friends.
“I’ve lost my entire relationship with Billie, and it really hurts.
“She’s been my best friend for so many years, and that plays into where I don’t feel whole, I feel really lost.” Friendships are so important. And you say things where when you’re angry, or when you’re hurt, you say things.’
In a confessional, she told viewers she knows exactly who leaked the voice notes, but claimed they were edited “to remove their context.”
She said: “When I heard the voice notes I immediately remembered who I sent them to, but I believe they have since been edited to remove their context.
‘Why? Because I think someone is trying to destroy me and do as much damage to my life as possible. There is only one person I know would want to inflict so much pain and damage on my life. They destroyed me.’

Elsewhere, the influencer revealed she found the school run “traumatizing” following her leaked voting note scandal, but admitted her “goal” was to get up every day.
She burst into tears as she confided in her boyfriend James Argent, 35, during the series premiere of her show.
In footage shared exclusively with MailOnline, Ferne confessed that she was “mortified” to drop her daughter, five, at school in the morning on Sunday.
She revealed that she was filled with “fear” and found it “traumatizing” to leave her home, explaining how an act of kindness from a fellow parent relieved her.
She said, “To be honest, thank God for the school run. I know it sounds so stupid, but having that consistency, like every day was a goal to get up because I had to before Sunday.
My only savior was being a parent on Sunday. Oh, it was so bad… and I’m so thankful for some of the school moms too. I was so ashamed to go to school, I was so mortified.
“It was so traumatizing to just go out the front door, past the paps, the fear.
“There was this school mom, who is a good friend of mine, who called me in the parking lot and she said, ‘I’m going to take her in for you,’ and I didn’t even have to get out of the car.
“I think it’s those moments when I just… I’ll never, ever forget. I’m so incredibly grateful for the friendships I’ve made.”
Arg replied, “I remember being associated with addiction and stuff, like thinking, ‘Don’t people want to be seen with me or don’t they want to be associated with me?'”
Ferne said, “You hit the nail on the head. I’m so paranoid. It’s weird. I don’t want people to go out with me.’

Arg continued, “You know, I’ve made terrible mistakes in the past and you never turned your back on me. You were always there for me and supporting me and I’ll be the same for, you know what I mean?
‘I know you’re not a bad person, Ferne. I know, listen, don’t get me wrong, those voice notes, they weren’t fun and it wasn’t the best hour and of course I don’t approve of them, but you’ve been such a good friend to me over the years.
“I would have really struggled without you and I really love you and I believe in you and I know you can change this.”
Ferne concluded, “Yes, that means so much to me.”
She once again burst into tears on Wednesday’s This Morning as she discussed her leaked scandal with voting notes.
The pregnant reality star described it as her “low point” and admitted she has been in therapy since the incident.
Ferne, who is expecting her first child with 31-year-old fiancée Lorri Haine, said she was a “different person” now and the infamous shooting happened six years ago when she was in a “vulnerable situation.”
The TV personality was shown a clip from her ITVBe show First Time Mum, which documented the breaking scandal and its aftermath.
Ferne struggled to watch, saying “I wear my heart on my sleeve and I like to be transparent to my viewers.”
“I have to leave the cameras and it’s really warts and all. I can’t just ignore the hard times.’

She further described the incident as not her “finest hour” and revealed that she had tried to contact those hurt by the incident.
“It wasn’t my finest hour, it was a tough time in my life.”
“I must once again take this opportunity to apologize publicly again, and I’ve reached out to those people, but it’s a criminal investigation so I can’t say too much.”
She continued, “The voice notes were from a time when I was in a very vulnerable situation about six years ago, I’ve been in therapy for six years since then, I’m a different person.”
Trying to find something positive in the sad situation, Ferne said, “I know my story will help many women and until then, unfortunately, I can’t say too much.”
