Rachael Finch hits back at troll who says she ‘malnourishes’ her two young children

Model and TV presenter Rachael Finch has lashed out at a troll who said she “abused” her children by giving them “malnutrition.”

The former Miss Universe is extremely passionate about health and rarely allows her children Violet, eight, and Dominic, five, to eat processed or sugary foods.

One of her social media followers made cruel comments about the way she feeds her children, claiming that it will lead to eating disorders when they are older.

“Hi Rachael, I have been following you for years, have bought most of your kissed earth products, but I must say that what you are feeding your children is a form of child abuse,” they wrote.

“They are malnourished and extremely underweight. Please feed them more. You are denying them a childhood.

“I have no doubt Violet will have some kind of eating disorder with what you feed her,” they continued.

“I will no longer buy your products (no matter how good they are).”

Rachel, who shares her two children with her dancer husband Michael Miziner, took a screenshot of the comment and posted it to her Instagram page to scam the troll.

The mother-of-two was furious at the accusation and called the comments dangerous.

‘Child abuse. Eating Disorder. Malnourished. How would you react? Would you like to respond?’ she wrote.

“I feel lucky to have the emotional support at home to help me deal with comments like this,” the star raged.

“But for those who don’t, this can be dangerous. Despite the fact that this person has no clue about our child’s well-being, other than a few food posts I post from time to time, it plays into your thoughts and feelings,” she continued.

“This post is purely a reminder to think twice before saying or typing anything.

“You don’t have to agree with everyone, but you should keep potentially damaging comments to yourself.

“Rather spread kindness,” she finished.

Many of Rachael’s friends and fans jumped to the comments section to defend her.

Fellow fitness influencer Ashy Bines wrote, “Abuse to feed them organic, unprocessed, nutrient-dense meals? Wow ok, you are doing great and your kids are so healthy!!!’

While Chef Miguel Maestre commented, “Haters gonna hate, don’t worry about it, don’t give it time.”

‘You have the most beautiful family, you are such nice people who keep shining like amiga’.

Rachael has amassed over 320,000 followers on Instagram by sharing her healthy lifestyle of yoga, meditation, and plenty of healthy recipes.

She rarely feeds her children processed foods and said her daughter Violet didn’t even know what sugar tasted like until she was over 3 years old.

It is not the first time that the influencer has been told by her followers that her children are malnourished.

She said on the It’s All Her podcast last April that many vicious trolls commented on her children’s bodies.

“I’ve had so many comments like ‘your kids are too thin, you’re depriving them of a childhood, they’ll grow up with mental disorders, they’ll hate you when they’re older, why don’t they let them live their lives’.

Rachael says her healthy meals seem to have been the trigger for the comments.

“They see me cooking things at home and because I like to share a lot of the healthy versions of what I make, they think my kids are deprived and that’s really sad,” she said.

“In the beginning … for days I was amazed at how people could be so nasty.”
