Dozens of students have been urgently evacuated after their school received a ‘threatening email’ as police scrambled to find the mysterious sender.
Children attending Our Lady of the Rosary in Fairfield, western Sydney, were evacuated Friday morning to nearby Patrician Brothers Fairfield College.
Principal Jackie Vella told parents the school had received a “threatening email” but that their children were safe and being looked after.

“This morning our school received a threatening email and as a result we evacuated staff and students to Patrician Brothers Fairfield,” she said.
“This is just a precautionary measure while the police are on site and are handling the email.
“There is no need to worry, your children are safe and cared for. If you want to pick them up, you can do so at the Patrician Brothers College, but you don’t have to and you don’t have to hurry.’
Daily Mail Australia has contacted NSW Police and Sydney Catholic Schools in relation to the incident.
Our Lady of the Rosary is a primary school in Sydney’s Western Suburbs that caters to students aged 5 to 12 years old.
