Not every actor can win an Oscar, but this year’s nominees certainly don’t go home empty-handed.
The best nominees for acting and directing at this year’s Academy Awards will walk away with lavish gift bags worth an estimated $150,000.
The goodies include everything from plastic surgery to a piece of land in Australia, but there’s one item that wasn’t included this year: sex toys.
Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary, who put together the bag, told Australia’s The morning show on Friday, they couldn’t include adult products this time.
“Unfortunately I can’t put sex toys in it anymore,” he told co-hosts Kylie Gillies and Larry Emdur.

“I always included it because it was a nice, discreet way for Meryl Streep or Jennifer Lawrence or any of these great nominees, who can’t go to a sex shop and buy some nice stuff, to do it discreetly,” he said . explained.
Despite dumping sex toys from the swag bag, Lash admitted to putting some edible avocado oil in them.
Some of the more expensive items include a luxury forest escape to Ottawa, Canada, and a vacation to the volcanic island of Ischia.
There is also the deed for a small piece of land in Australia to help with conservation efforts Down Under.
For actors who enjoy a nip and tuck, there’s $10,000 worth of Botox and filler and $12,000 worth of body-sculpting treatments.
There are various goodies from brands such as PETA, Maison Construction, NaturGeeks, Rareté Studios, ReFa, Proflexa, Miage Skincare, Benigna Parfums and more.
“These nominees are in a unique position to greatly assist participating brands simply by wearing, using and talking about these products,” Lash said in a statement.
“While our gifts may be known as fun, fabulous, useful and unique, they also serve a greater purpose,” he added.

There is one catch when it comes to the gift bag.
The Oscar nominees who receive the gifts are not allowed to re-gift them to other people, as they are expected to use the goodies themselves so that the brands can gain media attention.
The 2023 Academy Awards will air in Australia on Monday, March 13.
