Gruesome armed robbery caught on camera: Intruders stab man in the face before assaulting two women and making off with jewelry

Police are on the hunt for four men after a terrifying home invasion saw a man brutally stabbed in the face and two women assaulted.
The men, who were armed with a pistol and wearing balaclavas, arrived at a property on Fraser Street in Melton South, western Melbourne, in the early hours of April 24.
CCTV footage shows the men kicking open the front door before entering the house, reportedly firing gunshots and demanding drugs, cash and a safe.

Victoria Police said the residents, a 31-year-old man and two women, aged 44 and 67, were attacked by the group after they rejected their demands.
The man suffered a serious knife wound to his face and was later rushed to hospital, while the women suffered only minor injuries.
The men stole jewelry from a safe in the house before fleeing in a white Volkswagen Polo, also stolen from the address.
CCTV footage shows the men backing down the driveway.
The vehicle was later found burned out on the North Shore about 40 minutes away.

Detectives identified another vehicle used by the group, a Mazda CX-5, by a sticker on the rear window.
Police have released CCTV and footage of the Mazda in hopes that the car will be identified by someone who knows its current whereabouts.

Police believe the incident was targeted.
