But Dr Matt Agnew is officially off the market after going public with his new girlfriend Kate Reid at Glamor on the Grid in Melbourne on Wednesday night.
The 35-year-old astrophysicist attended the Formula 1 event with Kate, who is known as the ‘croissant queen’ thanks to the popularity of her Lune bakery.
He confirmed their relationship on Thursday by posting a series of photos of the pair looking cozy at the pre-Grand Prix party.
Dr. Agnew looked dashing in a black suit, while Kate, who is a former F1 engineer, stunned in a glittery long dress with a thigh split.

Kate is the owner of the famous Melbourne croissanterie Lune.
Her French pastries, prepared daily at her Collins Street bakery, were once described by The New York Times as the best in the world.
Her romance with Dr. Agnew comes after the data scientist was rumored to be in a relationship with MasterChef star Khanh Ong.

The couple’s close friendship, which includes “date nights” and holding hands, is often mistaken for a romantic relationship, even though Dr. Agnew is not gay.
Dr. Agnew said on the Feast podcast last month that he and Khanh want to normalize platonic male affection.
“It’s the lack of affection that straight men show other men that people assume must be something sexual there,” he said.
“Being affectionate and tactile with your friends, especially dudes, need to do this more. Everyone should be comfortable enough in their sexuality that they don’t feel uncomfortable showing affection, male or female.”
Dr. Agnew went on to say that he enjoyed hugging Khanh when they were both single and in need of company.
