Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton have revealed that the hardest thing about their post-MAFS relationship is the “weird pedestal” viewers have put them on.

PR manager Tahnee, 27, shared Yahoo lifestyle Tuesday she feels “a lot of pressure” from the public to maintain a successful relationship with her boyfriend.

She said that while they are “nice people who feel that way about us,” the two have decided they “don’t want to live up to this high expectation.”

“It’s a lot of pressure from people putting us on a weird pedestal because they see us on TV and they’re like, ‘Oh my God, they’re so cute, I want them to work out!'” she said.

“Since we are like this, we don’t want to live up to these high expectations of people. But it’s nice that people think that way about us.’

Tahnee went on to reveal that there is another side to the investigation involving hateful people who don’t want the pair to last.

“It’s very weird and not many people can say they’re in this position. You are thrown into the public eye as a team and a unit and there are going to be people who want to see you fail and fall apart,” she said.

“We just have to ignore it, and I think for us, we’re very good at communicating everything.”

She added, “Ollie really likes to talk about every little thing to make sure there’s no confusion or restraint, and I think that’s just another part of it.”

MAFS aired part two of his final vows on Monday night and viewers were delighted when Tahnee and voiceover artist Ollie, 26, decided to stick together.

Viewers took to social media to shower the “cute” couple, expressing their joy that they defied the odds by staying together – while most other couples split up.

“Two genuinely nice people with no drama. Exactly what MAFS needs more of. Please let them live happily ever after,” added another.

In the heartwarming episode, Ollie and Tahnee finally got their happy ending as they both declared their love for each other.
