Kellyanne Conway put on a brave face on Sunday as she left her home for the first time since announcing her divorce from her husband of 22 years.
DailyMail.com photographers spotted the former White House adviser smiling and waving to reporters as she left her estate in Alpine, New Jersey, on Sunday.
Kellyanne, 56, had a markedly different expression to her soon-to-be ex-husband George, 59, who was pictured on Saturday looking despondent without his wedding ring.
She appeared happy and carefree as she approached her car in a green dress with matching earrings, accompanied by her oldest daughter, Claudia. She even smiled as she climbed into her blue sedan.
Kellyanne’s four children have been remarkably quiet about their parents’ divorce since the announcement on Friday, with the exception of one tweet from Claudia, who wrote: ‘You all need to shut up’ [for real].’

The Conways announced on Friday that they had filed for divorce after 22 years of marriage after admitting George’s criticism of former President Donald Trump was treason.
In a statement posted on their respective Twitter pages, the couple said: “We are in the final stages of an amicable divorce.
“We were married over two decades ago, cherishing the many happy years (and four corgis) we’ve shared, and especially our four incredible children who remain the heartbeat of our family and our top priority.”
They asked the public to “respect our privacy,” noting that they “remain united as parents to bring love, joy, comfort and protection to our beautiful children.”
Kellyanne and George married in 2001 and had three children in addition to their social media influencer daughter, Vanessa, Charlotte and George. The couple have both hired divorce lawyers and are working on dividing their assets, Page Six reported.
The Conways own several properties in addition to their 3,000-square-foot home in the Garden State. They own an $8 million home in Washington DC and a beach house along the Jersey Shore.
The couple revealed that after years of speculation, they are going their separate ways if the pair even liked each other, according to Page Six.

George has been one of Donald Trump’s biggest critics, publicly mocking the president on Twitter while employing his wife.
He even went on to berate the former president on Saturday after posting on Truth Social, “Congratulations Kellyanne Conway on her DIVORCE from her crazy husband, Mr. Kellyanne Conway.”
“Finally free, she’s finally rid of the disgusting albatross around her neck. She’s a great person and will now be free to live the kind of life she deserves… and it will be a great life without the extremely unattractive loser by her side!’
Conway responded by saying, “Look forward to seeing you in New York next month at the E. Jean trial!” Hugs and kisses.’
Trump faces a civil trial in April over a former columnist’s claim that he raped her in the dressing room of a department store in the mid-1990s.

Kellyanne became a Trump adviser in 2016 and served as his campaign manager.
While working endlessly for the president, her husband — who co-founded the Lincoln Project, which worked to prevent Trump’s re-election — accused the president on social media.
It seems the divorce hasn’t slowed his criticism, as he took to Twitter on Friday to insult the former leader, including retweeting a post questioning the president’s sanity.
Their political split was addressed in Kellyanne’s 2022 memoir Here’s The Deal, where she revealed that she viewed his criticism as a betrayal of their marriage. She deemed his tweets “cheating” and it was revealed that Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, had suggested that the pair go into therapy.
Trump himself had even called George a “stone cold LOSER & husband from hell” at one point.
Another hitch in the family image came in 2020 after their teenage daughter Claudia criticized her mother and Trump.
Kellyanne announced in August 2020 that she would be leaving the White House the day after the 15-year-old said in a series of tweets that she was “officially pushing for emancipation” from her parents.
Kellyanne said she left for the sake of her family, to be “less drama, more mama.”

George also stepped back from his role on the Lincoln Project, taking a short break from Twitter to focus on family.
In a statement at the time, Kellyanne called her time in the Trump administration “tumultuous” and “humiliating,” saying she and George made the decision based on what they think is best for their four children.
“We disagree on many things,” she wrote of her and her husband, “but we agree on what is most important: the children.
“Our four kids are teens and tweens starting a new academic year in middle school and high school that will be conducted away from home for a few months. As millions of parents across the country know, children who ‘go to school from home’ require a level of attention and vigilance that is as uncommon as it is today.”
Conway continued, “This is entirely my choice and my vote. In time I will announce future plans. For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama.’

Claudia previously took to TikTok and stated that her parents were going to get a divorce, but called it off “to avoid becoming emancipated.”
She accused her father in the video of not caring about her and not knowing her middle name and said her mother has been physically abusive all her life.
That drama played out on Claudia’s TikToks, with the now 18-year-old posting a video in October 2020 publicly accusing her mother of hiding her COVID-19 diagnosis and saying that Trump is worse than she claims.
Claudia later posted to the site to “clarify” her claim that her mother had “lied” about her test result – but the pair argued in the video as Kellyanne accused her daughter of “lying about your damn mother.”
