Joe McElderry looked very different from his days on The X Factor as he set out on a private yacht in Barbados with friends on Friday.
The singer, 31, starred in the show when he was just 18 years old in 2009, beating Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs to the crown.
And 14 years later, Joe seemed worlds away from the baby-faced teen who won the contest with his rendition of Miley Cyrus’ The Climb.
The TV star has gone a little bit stronger as he flaunted his shirtless body in a khaki Hawaiian shirt and Calivin Klein shorts.
But after several days in the sun, Joe looked a little sunburnt on his chest and shoulders.

After partially undoing his shirt, the singer later buttoned up to protect himself from the sun and donned black sunglasses.
Joe seemed to live life as he enjoyed traveling around the island with his friends while taking in the breathtaking views.
He cooled off in the water and relaxed during the trip with a refreshing drink.
It comes after Joe shared his lavish lifestyle on Instagram on Thursday when he arrived on the beach in Barbados.
The theater star is the latest celebrity face to vacation to the Caribbean island, favored by a slew of celebrities, including music mogul Simon Cowell.
Joe joked that he got a little sunburned as he relaxed with a cocktail in hand after being on the beach.
In one photo, the crooner posed shirtless in black board shorts after a swim in the ocean.
He wrote: Back in my favorite place! Barbados,” before adding another photo: “Yes, I got sunburned! i never learn! But the Rum Punch helps.’

Joe documented his journey in a video montage, with clips of the flight, enjoying a cup of coffee on the balcony and a walk on the beach.
Fans wrote, “Looks heavenly,” while another added, “Have fun, Barbados looks beautiful.”
Wrote a third follower who voted, “So jealous Joe it’s such a beautiful view and the ocean so warming.”
The singer has been working hard to lose weight after sporting a fuller body while appearing on the ITV daytime show, Lorraine, in 2015.
However, two years later, he sported an athletic physique when he took to the stage shirtless during his performance of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The singer trained with former Miss Universe finalist Caroline Dixon and followed a strict diet.
Earlier in an interview with Fantastic magazinehe said, “Most of the things we do are great, but in a weird way I really enjoy it.
“I’m a very active person and I’ve done a lot of charity bike rides.
“It’s a huge part of my life and I think it’s a necessary part of my life for endurance when I’m on stage.”
Joe also reminisced about his time on the show that catapulted him to fame.
He said, “Every time I see that clip, I feel so old, I look so young!” he said.
