The first Test was also the last for bowling coach Charl Langeveldt, who was the only member of the Mark Boucher-era support staff to carry over into Shukri Conrad’s tenure. Langeveldt takes up a role with Punjab Kings in the IPL and is replaced in the national lineup by former Warriors coach Piet Botha. Langeveldt was supposed to be involved with the national team throughout this Test series, but has been released for personal reasons.
