The latest incidents come hours after the body of the man who disappeared while canyoning in the Blue Mountains was found.

The St Ives man, 39, was canyoning with a group on the Wollangambe River near Mount Wilson on Sunday afternoon when he disappeared.

His body was found Monday morning during a large-scale house search.
