“There’s even bigger news to come!” Boxing fans believe Tyson Fury’s uncontested heavyweight fight with Oleksandr Usyk will be CONFIRMED after promoter Frank Warren’s cryptic tweet teased an upcoming announcement
- Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk have negotiated an uncontested fight
- Negotiations have not been smooth sailing, leaving fans doubting whether it will happen
- Fury’s promoter Frank Warren has now teased an announcement ahead of the fight
Promoter Frank Warren has hinted that Tyson Fury’s undisputed heavyweight showdown with Oleksandr Usyk will be announced soon.
Fury and Usyk have been negotiating for the April 29 mega fight at Wembley Stadium in recent weeks, but there were a number of hurdles that left fans in doubt whether it would actually happen.
Last Saturday, Usyk’s team stated they were ready to move forward if a deal was not reached soon, but Warren has now suggested on social media that all is moving in the right direction and the fight will take place.
After watching his beloved Arsenal beat Crystal Palace on Sunday to extend their lead at the top of the table, Warren took to Twitter to post a cryptic message.
Arsenal 8 points ahead! There’s even bigger news to come!’ He wrote.

Fans now believe that the undisputed clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will continue

It could be that Fury and Usyk are less than six weeks apart at Wembley
It didn’t take long for fans to pick up on the tweet, and many think it only means one thing.
“It happens people, trust me,” one fan posted, referring to what Fury-Usyk probably looks like right now.
There was also a lot of love for Warren, who has been insisting for the fight to go ahead in recent days, and now it seems to have finally crossed the line.
‘Frank Warren, the greatest promoter the UK has ever had!’ one supporter wrote.
Another added, “Uncle Frank delivered again.”

Warren received a lot of praise from fans for finally appearing to land a deal

One fan joked that the announcement could be a fourth fight between Fury and Derek Chisora
Not everyone got carried away, however, when one fan posted a tongue-in-cheek comment that Fury may be looking at an alternate opponent.
“Fury-Chisora 4, can’t wait,” they sarcastically claimed, after Fury emphatically ended his trilogy with fellow Briton by delivering a one-sided beatdown in December.
Fury’s proposed clash with Usyk promises to be one of the biggest fights of this century and would crown the heavyweight division’s first four-cushion world champion.
After weeks of back and forth between the pair, it looks like it’s getting the green light and a final announcement could follow soon, with less than six weeks before they can finally meet in the ring on April 29.
