Former EastEnders star Stephen Rahman-Hughes has welcomed twins.
The actor, 53, who played Adam Bateman in the BBC soap until 2019, took to Instagram to make the announcement just 18 months after his wife gave birth to their daughter, Aphra.
He shared some adorable snaps of their latest additions named Sonny and Remy cozy up in blankets and with his partner, Anjalina Mehra.
Stephen wrote in his caption, “Big news! Today my life took a huge turn. TWINS!!
“I am amazed and in pieces after watching my wife @anjalimehra do it again but this time with 2 gorgeous boys.
Congratulations! Former EastEnders star Stephen Rahman-Hughes has welcomed twins
‘We are beyond happy that Sonny & Remy have joined our clan and that they had such a lovely arrival. If only Juney were here to welcome her new grandsons.
That would have been even more perfect. It couldn’t have gone smoother – some will remember Anj having an incredibly difficult experience giving birth to Aphra (only 18 months ago).
They say “double the trouble but double the joy” and we fully expect to have a riotous time with our 3 little precious angels.
“We have patiently hoped and tried for children for so long. We are truly blessed and are so thankful.”
Stephen went on to thank the medical professionals at St George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for helping us welcome their bundle of joy.
He continued, “Thank you to the team @stgeorgestrust for their diligence, patience and painstaking hard work in these most challenging times for #nhs.
“The staff we encountered showed so much compassion and care under difficult circumstances. We are filled with gratitude. Our sincere thanks.
‘We can’t wait for you to meet them all: lots of love from us. Stephen, Anj, Aphra, Sonny Rain and Remy Jude x.
