EastEnders stars Jessica Plummer and Ben Hardy ‘SPLIT after 18 months together after growing apart due to their busy schedules’
Jessica Plummer and Ben Hardy reportedly split after going public with their relationship in 2021.
The former EastEnders actors are said to have fallen victim to busy work schedules, which caused them to ‘grew apart’.
Despite keeping the romance low-key, which reportedly started when they filmed The Girl Before together, the duo enjoyed a trip to Turkey last summer.
According to The mirrorsources close to Ben and Jessica claim the pair have been too busy to keep the relationship afloat.
An insider shared, “Ben and Jessica were in love with each other, but work meant they spent a lot of time apart.

“Over time it has taken its toll and recently they decided to call it a day,” they continued.
MailOnline has reached out to representatives for Ben and Jessica for comment.
Ben still follows his alleged ex-girlfriend on Instagram, but it turns out she no longer follows him.
The split comes after they were found to be still going strong in the summer of 2022 when they celebrated Ben’s 31st birthday six months late with a holiday to Turkey.
Ben and Jessica are both EastEnders alumni, with the latter playing Chantelle Atkins from 2019 to 2022, while the former was a previous star of the show playing Peter Beale from 2013-2015.
The pair next starred side-by-side for the four-part BBC drama The Girl Before, and they grew closer as they portrayed the on-screen couple Simon and Emma.
After months of rumours, they confirmed the romance shortly after appearing in the drama with a PDA screen in central London.
They hugged near a taxi after a night with friends at Soho House and the pair looked super cozy.

It came shortly after it was reported that Ben had split from his girlfriend Olivia Cooke earlier that year, with sources claiming at the time that their romance “failed”.
It’s no surprise that the pair have been swamped with work, as Ben went on to star in Hollywood films such as Bohemian Rhapsody and X-Men: Apocalypse following his departure from EastEnders.
While Jessica placed seventh in 2020’s I’m A Celebrity, and shares a daughter, Noa, six, with her ex-boyfriend.
