When you’re feeling stressed, anxious, or sleep-deprived, simple tasks can feel exhausting.

But finding ways to clear your mind makes all the difference.

The NHS has a test to find out what works best for you.

The NHS Mind Plan asks you five simple questions before compiling advice and resources that can help you be kind to your mind.

Users of the MailOnline app can take the quiz by clicking here.

The first question is ‘How is your mood?’ and you will have to choose an answer that comes closest to how you have felt for the past two weeks.

You are given options such as always in a good mood, usually happy but the occasional bad day, more bad days than good or always feeling extremely down.

Then the quiz asks how well you slept in the past two weeks.

The answers range from always sleeping well to extreme sleep deprivation.

The quiz will then ask how anxious or tense you feel. You will again have to choose an answer that comes closest to how you have been feeling for the past two weeks.

The options are: not anxious at all, rarely anxious, sometimes anxious, more often than not anxious, most of the time anxious, and always extremely anxious.

For question four, the quiz measures your stress level.

You can choose from never, rarely or sometimes stressed. If your stress level is higher, the options are stressed most days, stressed all the time, and extremely stressed.

Finally, the quiz will ask if you’ve been worried about anything in particular and give you a handful of options from which to choose as many as apply to you.

Some of the topics to choose from are about health issues or more specifically about Covid.

You will be asked about your mood, stress and anxiety levels, how well you are sleeping and what are your current concerns.

You will be asked about your mood, stress and anxiety levels, how well you are sleeping and what are your current concerns.

Other options include maintaining relationships, loneliness, traumatic events or life changes, and difficult times.

You can also choose money, work and housing or smoking, drinking, drugs and gambling.

Based on your answers, you will get a personalized plan of things to focus on.

These resources can include exercise resources such as the Couch to 5k app, meditation tips, or keeping a mood journal.
