Designer Christian Siriano’s studio was damaged by a burst pipe days before the Oscars, destroying a series of dresses destined for the red carpet.
Siriano, 37, who has dressed stars such as Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez and Oprah Winfrey, shared a video from the water-damaged studio on Monday.
The clip showed Siriano’s staff trying to save dresses with puddles of water visible on the floor and water dripping from the ceiling.
The video was titled, ‘Well it’s 6 days before the Oscars and a pipe burst in our studio, yay happy Monday to us! Ughghghg. THE WORST EVER! Only a few dresses are ruined.’
He added in the captions, “#SAVETHEGOWNS” as fans sent well wishes.

The 95th Academy Awards will be hosted by late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and will be held on Sunday, March 12 at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood.
Top Gun: Maverick has been nominated for six Oscars, including Best Picture, a sign that Hollywood is finally listening to its audience and honoring blockbusters instead of arthouse favorites.
The film starring Tom Cruise is nominated for Best Picture along with Elvis, Avatar: The Way of Water, All Quiet On The Western Front and The Fabelmans.
While Cruise missed out on a Best Actor nomination, the Best Picture nomination could earn him his first Academy Award.
However, Everything Everywhere All At Once led the pack with the most nominations with 11 and The Banshees of Inisherin earned nine nominations. The two films won the Golden Globes earlier this month.
Elvis, from Baz Luhrmann, has eight nominations, including one for Austin Butler.
The Best Actress award at the Oscars is won by Cate Blanchett in Tar and Michelle Yeoh, who won the Golden Globes award for her performance in Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Ana De Armas also earned a nomination for her portrayal of Marilyn Monroe in Blonde.
While Cruise missed out on a Best Actor nomination, Austin Butler (Elvis) Brendan Fraser (The Whale) and Bill Nighy (Living) all got nods.
All Quiet On The Western Front, a German-produced film, earned multiple nominations, as did Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, including Best Original Song.
Angela Bassett is nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, as is Jamie Lee Curtis for Everything Everywhere All At Once.
The winners are voted on by the approximately 10,000 actors, producers, directors and film professionals who make up the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
The academy added more women and people of color to its ranks after the 2015 and 2016 #OscarsSoWhite feuds, and it increased membership from outside the United States.
This year, seven of the 20 acting nominees were people of color, including Yeoh’s Everything Everywhere All At Once castmates Ke Huy Quan and Stephanie Quan.
The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences certainly celebrates a field of best films populated with blockbusters; according to data company Comscore, their combined domestic box office of $1.574 billion is the highest ever at the time of nominations.
Last year’s awards looked like a comeback edition before ‘the clap’ came to define the ceremony. In the aftermath, the academy banned Will Smith from attending for the next 10 years.
While he could still have been nominated, Smith’s performance as a runaway slave in Emancipation failed to resonate with voters.

But bigger concerns are swirling around the movie business. Last year saw flashes of triumphant resurgence for theaters, like the success of Top Gun: Maverick, but less stellar results for most dramas.
Due in part to an inconsistent stream of major releases, ticket sales for the year only recovered about 70 percent of pre-pandemic sales.
Streaming services shares, meanwhile, fell as Wall Street looked to streaming services to make a profit, not just add subscribers.
Last year’s Oscar broadcast drew 16.6 million viewers, according to Nielsen.
