Beautiful portraits of Brooke Shield, Marilyn Monroe are going under the hammer

Photos of some of the 20th century’s greatest icons have been listed for thousands of dollars as part of a recent auction for Auction House Swann.

The photos auctioned for thousands of dollars included nude photos of Marilyn Monroe by photographer Lawrence Schiller, which fetched $12,000.

Psychedelic snapshots of George Harrison from The Beatles by legendary photographer Richard Avedon went for $38,000.

There are also rare prints of Brooke Shields’ iconic photographs advertising Calvin Klein jeans.

Legendary artist Andy Warhol’s photographs are also part of the Swann Galleries auction, which includes photographs by William Burroughs and famous photographs by Holly Solomon up for sale.
