Paris Fashion Week ended on a high as French label Miu Miu launched its latest collection of womenswear to a star-studded audience on Tuesday.
As the biennial show inevitably drew to a close, the Palais d’Iéna in the French capital hosted one of the final presentations of an already eventful day,
Host Alexa Chung led the celebrity guest list, making sure to claim the spotlight in a conventional suede jacket, under which her modesty was protected by a partially exposed bra.
The fashion-forward star, 39, added to her look with a pleated white miniskirt, while smart leather sling-backs and a tasteful white leather handbag completed the ensemble.
She was soon joined by Hollywood star Jessica Alba, whose elegant plaid outfit drew attention as she greeted spectators outside the Paris hall.
The actress, 41, gave the look a sophisticated air by draping a fitted coat over her shoulders, while black tights and matching leather boots continued an understated color scheme.

The 21-year-old – known as “the most beautiful girl in the world” after emerging as a child model in 2007 – completed the look with black ankle socks and om-trend loafers.
The guest list also found room for Brooklyn Beckham and his actress wife Nicola Peltz, with the pair making their final appearance in Paris after flying to France to celebrate his 24th birthday.
Brooklyn looked predictably smitten as he planted a tender kiss on the American actress’s cheek as he lounged outside the 16th arrondissement venue.
Peltz, 28, put on a very leggy display in a tiny pleated miniskirt that she paired with an edgy leather blazer.
She wore the look over a cropped white shirt that teases a glimpse of her toned midriff and tucked her toned pins into tights.

Elsewhere Pixie Geldof, Ella Richards Diane Kruger and Dianna Agron all ensured Paris Fashion Week ended on a high note by making their own respective appearances at the presentation.
The event even welcomed a royal visit of sorts, with Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark seen making her way into the Parisian venue.
