Patrick Mahomes showed footage of his daughter, Sterling, showing off her stuff with a soccer ball in what could be a glimpse into the future.
The reigning MVP of the Super Bowl — and regular season — posted an Instagram story about his two-year-old dribbling the ball.
“Go on girl, come on,” Mahomes said in the video, as Sterling moved the ball within inches of the goal line before pushing it over the net with her hands.
“Well done,” he added with a laugh. His wife, Brittany, uploaded a similar video to her Instagram page. She says, ‘Go score a goal’ and Sterling does just that.
Ms. Mahomes was a college football star at the University of Texas at Tyler and currently holds school records for most goals scored in a single season and accumulated points in a campaign.

Brittany had a brief stint in professional football, playing in Iceland in the summer of 2017.
The ardent Chiefs fan co-owns the NWSL team, Kansas City Current, which was founded in 2021.
Patrick is a co-owner and announced the move at the turn of the year, joining the franchise with his wife.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to join @brittanylynne as part of the @thekccurrent ownership team,” he wrote on Twitter at the time.
“She and the Longs (co-owners) have done a fantastic job building a world class organization and I am delighted to be joining another championship level club as it continues to make history.
“We are thrilled to make it a family affair and have Patrick as owner,” Brittany said in an official statement from the club in January.
Mahomes had already invested in Kansas City’s other two sports teams: Sporting KC and the Royals.
